Science Microbiome Prize: TRILLIONS OF MICROBES ONE ESSAY

The NOSTER & Science Microbiome Prize is an international award that recognizes innovative research by investigators who received their M.D., Ph.D., or M.D./Ph.D. in the last ten years, and are working on the functional attributes of the microbiota. The research can include any organism that has potential to contribute to our understanding of human or veterinary health and disease, or to guide therapeutic interventions. The winner and finalists will be chosen by a committee of independent scientists, chaired by a senior editor at Science.

Medline Investigator-Initiated Studies Program | Research support

The IIS Program provides support for research that advances scientific and medical knowledge about Medline products and generates promising approaches to medical care. Our support of projects can include direct funding to cover all or a portion of study-related costs, product and study design input. If the Scientific Review Committee approves an application, execution of an agreement is required for disbursement of funds and/or product, which includes milestones and publishing expectations.

ARDF’s Annual Open grant program was established to fund research projects that develop alternative methods to advance science and replace or reduce animal use. Proposals are evaluated based on scientific merit and feasibility, and the potential to reduce or replace the use of animals in the near future.
